Obituary for Vicki Lynn Wilt

WILT, Vicki Lynn (Martof)

Vicki Wilt of Arlington, MA died of cancer on June 27, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Alan M. “Mike” Wilt and loving mother of Samuel Y. Wilt.

A graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, Vicki worked for decades as a writer and editor of educational resources for language arts and social studies. Her publishing career also included stints writing promotional copy for potential bestsellers and authorship of books on grammar, vocabulary, and other topics. Vicki also inspired and nurtured her husband’s editorial career, and together they founded Tucker Seven Editorial Associates.

She was a voracious but choosy reader of mysteries and a relentless solver of crossword puzzles.

In addition to her husband and son, Vicki is survived by her parents, Edwin J. and Rose J. (Stypula) Martof; two brothers, Gene and Rick Martof; four sisters, Janet Mitcheltree, Rita Gilliland, Rosemary Frazier, and Nancy Clayton. She was predeceased by her brother Edwin M. Martof.

A memorial celebration to honor Vicki Wilt will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 3:30 p.m., Location: Tiffany's Banquet Center, Brookfield, Ohio. For complete details, please visit:
