Bruce  E.  Graber
Bruce E. Graber, II, of Cambridge, MA, died of complications from cancer on February 22, 2014 at the age of 51. He is survived by his beloved wife Giulia (Gheorghiu) Graber, his parents Michal and Ray Graber of Alfred, Maine, and 5 brothers and sisters and 13 nieces and nephews, and is preceded in death by his sister. He spent his youth in Maine where he began university before heading to Alaska and Seattle.

After a time as a nuclear reactor specialist with the U.S. Navy during which he sailed the world as far as the North Pole, Bruce settled in his adopted city of Cambridge. A member of the American Nuclear Society, Bruce's nuclear expertise brought him to MIT where he was safety officer for the MIT Nuclear Research Reactor. After graduating with a M.S. in computer science from Northeastern, he switched directions joining the IT department for alumni affairs at MIT.

He was a true fighter, an esteemed colleague, a cherished sibling who was adored by his wife and his bunny Chloe. He will be dearly missed. A wake will be held February 26 from 4 to 8 pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge to be followed by a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers in memory of Bruce please support the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society.
