HAGGERTY, Theresa G. (McGrath), formerly of Arlington, MA, died on July 17, 2014 at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester, MA. Born in Boston, MA on February 6, 1927 to the late Edward and Blanche (Chartier) McGrath, she was 87. Theresa was retired from Walgreens where she worked for many years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Haggerty and Harry “Doc” Fancy. Loving mother of Maureen Garron & her husband Joseph of Somerville, MA; Debbie Saddler & her husband Jerry of NC; Paul Fancy & Wuntanee of Somerville, MA; and Richard Fancy & his wife Judy of Canada. Step-mother of Joseph V. Haggerty, Jr. of VA; Edward Haggerty of NH; Mary Gano of FL; Jean Haggerty of Arlington, MA; and John Haggerty of Rowley, MA. Sister of Adele Pelerine of Somerville, MA; Blanche Rioux of RI; Adeline Sheridan of Somerville, MA; and Helen Doyle of ME. Also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Rt. 60, Arlington, MA on Monday, July 21st at 9:00am, followed by her funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, 24 Medford St., Arlington, MA at 10:00am. Servcies will conclude with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Sunday, July 20th from 2:00 to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Theresa may be made to Aberjona Nursing Center, 184 Swanton St., Winchester, MA 01890.
