BENOIT, Helen M. (Steeves), of Saugus, formerly of Somerville. August 17, 2014. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Fred J. Benoit Jr. Loving mother of Mary Pescatore and her husband Michael of Beverly, Patricia Caveney and her husband James of Plymouth, Fred Benoit III and his wife Carol of Somerville, Glenn Benoit and his wife Maureen of Boston, Edward Benoit of Wilmington, Nancy Donovan of Medford, Lynne Robertson and her husband John of Saugus, and the late Ronald Benoit. Sister of Nancy Dunn of NH, Robert Steeves of NH, and the late Glenn Steeves. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Proud member of the Canadian American Club of Watertown. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Thursday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in Saint John's Church, Cambridge at 11 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Interment private.
