HOWARD-Trudy Mulcahy, 91, on Labor Day, peacefully with family, of Cambridge, MA (formerly Scarsdale/Bronxville, NY) and Nantucket, wife of Leonard F. Howard (deceased). Beloved mother of Thomas, Susanne, James and Daniel and grandmother of Aidan, Carter and Preston. From her roots in Leominster, MA to teaching in Connecticut to her groundbreaking work for women at Seventeen Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily and in 1947 her nationally syndicated column Talk About Careers, she touched many. Her heart, intellect, passion for people and family, her wit and charm, as well as her interest in public affairs and education continues to inspire. There will be a “Toast to Trudy” gathering on Thursday, October 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Renaissance Westchester in White Plains, NY; a Funeral Mass on October 31 at 11:00 am at the Church of St. Joseph, 15 Cedar St, Bronxville, NY 10708; and a Memorial Service on November 1 at 3:00 pm at Cadbury Commons Assisted Living, 66 Sherman St., Cambridge, MA 02140.
