PETITPAS, Joseph Albert, Lifelong resident of Cambridge. October 24, 2014. Beloved husband of 68 years to Isabelle (Chaves) of Cambridge. Loving father of Albert Petitpas and his wife Katherine of CT, Robert Petitpas and his wife Patricia of Tewksbury, John Petitpas and his wife Laurie of RI, and Anne Marie Bresnahan and her husband James of Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Tobin, Bethanie, Matthew, John Paul, Michael, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Cameron and Emma. Dear brother of Sister Gabriel Marie Petitpas of Somerville, and the late Peter, Joseph Robert, and Wilfrid Petitpas, and Mary Poirier, Toni Derocher, Margie Devine, and Ida Garmon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Longtime employee of the Local 218 Carpenter’s Union. Late WWII Army Veteran. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Cambridge at 10am. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 pm. Interment in Cambridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to the VNA Hospice Care, 100 Sylvan Rd, Woburn, MA 01801.
