Obituary for Dorothy A. Hand (Gillis)
HAND, Dorothy A. (Gillis), of Arlington. April 24th , 2015. Beloved wife of the late Charles K. Hand. Loving mother of Kenneth Hand and his wife Kathleen of Chelmsford, Deborah Schofield and her husband Bret of Billerica, Joanna Hand of Arlington, and the late John Hand. Cherished Nana of Kristi, Michelle, and Jessica Hand, and John Schofield. Dear sister of Mary Scarfo, Francis Gillis, John Gillis, and the late Everett and Earl Gillis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday in St Joseph Church, 128 Common Street, Belmont, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, Arlington from 7:30-8:30am. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. www.keefefuneralhome.com
