Obituary for Elmo L. Albertelli

Elmo Lawrence Albertelli, DDS, born on March 11th, 1926, died peacefully on May 14, 2015 at the age of 89. Known as “Al” to his friends, and “Doctor A” to his patients, Dr. Albertelli practiced dentistry for over 50 years, initially in Arlington, where he grew up and raised his family, and later in Palm Harbor, Florida. A U.S. Navy Fighter Pilot in World War II, Elmo was also an avid golfer, a gifted wood carver, a crafter of fine jewelry, and a master of crossword puzzles. A lover of fine food, he had the great fortune of being married to a gourmet cook. Most importantly, Elmo was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Repetto) for over 64 wonderful years, and the adored father of their ten children.
Elmo is predeceased by his parents Lawrence Elmo and Mary (Bozzi) Albertelli, his sister Lillian (Albertelli) Brillante, and his brother Lawrence Elmo Albertelli. He is survived by his loving wife Eleanor (Repetto), and their ten children: Lawrence, Victoria, Chris, Donna, Elissa, Gina, Dana, Elmo, Maria and Carissa, along with their loving spouses and children. Elmo was the beloved “Grampi” to 11 beautiful grandchildren: Nicole, Gabrielle, Aria, Mia, Shane, Kristina, Connor, Liam, Sara, Sean, and little Leo. Although he lived a blessed life, Elmo will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but will remain forever in their hearts.
