Condolence: Members of the Boston Guitar Orchestra will be lighting a candle at the Newburyport Lantern Festival on September 3rd. Richard will be with us in spirit no doubt. We send thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of being in Richard's company only a handful of times but as I got to know him I became more and more aware of what a kind and thoughtful person he was. One fond memory was walking around the Museum of Fine Art with him and Lorena taking in the Napoleon exhibit. He seemed to be curious about everything. Science and art. I also had a few email exchanges with him about his inventions and it was good to see that side of him, in his element, where he excelled. Most importantly I know what a loving husband he was to my dearest friend Lorena. Rest in peace dear Richard.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of interacting with Richard at a number of security industry functions. Richard was brilliant, genuine, and a pleasure to spend time with. He made a real difference in the industry and with the people who interacted with him. I offer my sincerest condolences to Lorena and family.

Condolence: At InVision we had the privilege of working with Richard in a small startup. A young spirited and wildly talented scientist that was always looking for the next best algorithm. Thanks you Richard for everything and mostly for being you!

Condolence: It is so sad to hear of Richard's passing. It was always a fun to share the Joy of Music with Richard as a fellow member of the Boston Guitar Orchestra. He will be missed. My sincerest condolences to his family and all of his friends. Michael

Condolence: I am shocked as a fellow guitar player in the Boston Guitar Orchestra. He was always passionate and inspiring. He will be deeply missed in our group.

Condolence: Sending loving thoughts to the family and friends of Richard. I have has the honor and pleasure of knowing him though the Boston Guitar Orchestra. When he joined us last year he brought such joy with him. He always had a smile with a twinkle in his eye that said, "Oh are we going to have fun." And fun we did have. He had planned to play with us at the Newburyport Lantern Festival September 4th. We will dedicate this performance to him and we will float a lantern in his memory. With deepest sympathy. Condolence: Richard was the heart and soul of Reveal. I remember when he presented to the entire team as we started to grow some of the incredible things that our machine was designed to safeguard against and helped the whole company find the spirit to get our machine certified. Richard left a lasting impact and helped make the world a safer place. He will be fondly missed. I offer my sincerest condolences to Lorena and the rest of the family.

Condolence: I worked with Richard Bijjani at Vivid/PKI and Reveal. Richard was a very smart colleague, a kind person and a great friend. It took me a long time to decide what I should bring up about my dear friend Richard in just a short paragraph in today's text box oriented internet world. It has been said that "integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching." Richard always took the time to care about others around him and he also went out of his way to help people. I know that Richard was always thoughtful enough to help people over-and-over-again in sincere and considerate ways such that most people he had helped did not even know that Richard had done that for them. He helped me a lot.

Condolence: Lorena, you are part of the family of my heart, as was Richard. Please know that I walk with you in sadness and in hope. - Milt

Condolence: To meet Richard was to meet someone who inspired you to be a kindhearted, hardworking person filled with wonder. The sorrow of his loss is great. May the world give you all tenderness and strength, To hold tight to the joy of the life lived, Even though it takes walking through the fog of mourning.

Condolence: We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you are gone, but that you touched many lives and your life gave everyone memories too beautiful to forget. May everyone who loved you find peace in thoughts of your loving kindness.

Condolence: I worked with Richard at both Reveal and Quanttus. He was a role model for me, and just a wonderful person. Calm amid turbulence, with an optimistic, positive, and cheerful attitude, and very smart, very insightful, full of great technical ideas. He could assemble a fun team of people, and could make visions of a company and a product come to life. I will really miss him, and I am sorry for his family's loss.

Condolence: I am deeply shocked and greatly saddened to learn of Richard's sudden death. I met him a couple of times and didn't know him well. But through a mutual friend I knew what an amazingly kind man he was. My DEEPEST condolences go out to Lorena and and to Richard's children. This obviously is a tremendously difficult time for them. Condolence: I knew Richard at Quanttus, above all, as a thoughtful and kind person. He was the lone voice of reason, rationality and humanity in the office. I am deeply saddened at his sudden demise.
