McCONNELL, Gladys M. (Doherty) of Rockport, formerly of Arlington. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct. 11, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Robert McConnell. Loving mother of Gail Novak and her late husband Alfred of Woburn, Kenneth McConnell Sr. and wife Susan of Medford, Michael McConnell and wife Mary of Medford, Kathleen McConnell of Rockport, Roberta Jarzyniecki and husband Darren of Haverhill, Barbara Christy and husband Nelson of TN, Robert McConnell Jr. and wife Rose of Medford, Christine Raymond and husband Willie of Arlington, and Matthew McConnell and wife Brenda of Andover. Sister of Barbara Karageanis and husband Michael of NH, and the late William Doherty and Gertrude Rudolph. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Rt. 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON on Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Saint Agnes’ Church at 10 am. Burial is private.
