Obituary for Daniel A. MacMillan Jr.

MacMillan Daniel A. Jr. of Arlington. November 26, 2016. Beloved Husband of Janice (Colyer). Loving father of Kristin L. Shultz and her husband Larry and Nicole M. Rajotte and her husband Jason. Devoted Grandfather of Jake and Emma Rajotte. Brother of the late Donald A. MacMillan Sr. and the late David T. MacMillan Sr. and his wife Pauline of Alfred, ME. Brother in law of Donna and William Fields of Florida. Devoted Uncle of David T. Jr., Dawn, David T III, Ilah, Kathy, Donny, Danny, Kerry and Robert. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Daniel was the co-founder and co-owner of Mac’s In-Cooperated in Watertown for more than 20 years; He was a senior marketing manager and a 40 year employee of Polaroid Cooperation and later in life Daniel went on to be the Athletic Director at Marian High School in Framingham. Daniel was a pivotal member of the soccer community on both the town and state level. In 1985 he worked to start the soccer program at Arlington Catholic where he would go on to be the Boys Soccer Coach for 20 years. He will be missed by many. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt.60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON on Saturday at 8:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church at 9:30am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
