WARD, Edward H., 92, of Arlington, MA, formerly of Boston, died peacefully December 3, 2016 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Constance (Wilson) Ward for 62 years. Loving father of Jane E. Martin, her husband, Stephen, and Bruce D. Ward and his wife Cheryl (Nelson) Ward, all of Arlington. Grandfather of Kristina, David, Daniel, Katie, Jessica and Andrew. Great-grandfather of the late Riley Desjardin and also of Weston Edward Lock. Survived by brother, Frank Ward of South Boston and sister, Jean Picardi of Middleboro, as well as many nieces and nephews. Edward served in the US Navy during WWII and subsequently worked on the Boston Police Force and at Suffolk Superior Court until his retirement in 1989. A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 10th at Trinity Covenant Church, Lexington, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Covenant Church, 7 Clematis Road, Lexington.
