Pappas, George T. “Big Daddy” Sr., of Arlington, January 9th, 2017. Beloved husband of Nancy (Harris) Pappas. Devoted father of George T. Pappas Jr., his wife Nancy, Michael J. Pappas, his wife Janice all of NH, Christopher M. Pappas, his wife Anabela, of Somerville, Elizabeth A. Pappas, Steven D. Pappas, his wife Cheryl all of Arlington, James L. Pappas, his wife Mary of Ipswich, Mark A. Pappas of Rowley and the late Peter J. Pappas and his former wife, Anna Azevedo of Arlington. Also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 2 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Peter Pappas of FL, Cynthia Harris of Malden, Theresa Mullen of Woburn and the late Lillian Homer, Josephine Hampton, Sophie, Richard, John and Marion Pappas. Further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. ARLINGTON, (Rt. 60, next to St. Agnes Church), Sunday, January 15th from 2 to 6 PM. Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral mass to be held in St. Catherine Church, Summer St. Somerville, Monday at 10 AM. Please go directly to church. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
