TARMEY, Michael F. of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville. Jan. 11, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Ann Mary (Curran). Loving father of Michael and his wife Karen of Melrose and John “Jeep” and his wife Kelly of Stoneham. Devoted grandfather of Cara, Sofia, Michaela, and Brendan. Brother of Mary Holmes of Ireland. He is predeceased by 4 brothers and sisters. Brother in law of Katherine Lavoie of Melrose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Tarmey family would like to give a special thanks to Cheryl Hynds for her devoted care. Michael was a Korean War Army veteran and a retired foreman for the city of Cambridge. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Saturday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Saint John's Church, Cambridge at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours (today) Friday 4-8 pm. Burial in Cambridge Cemetery. Parking available at Pemberton Garden Center. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Senior Adult Unit, c/o Addison Gilbert Hospital, 298 Washington St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
