Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marie Cavicchi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Marie Cavicchi

Marie  Cavicchi
Marie (Battaglia) Cavicchi, a lifelong Arlington resident passed away on Feb. 12, 2017. She was 73.
Marie graduated from Arlington High in 1961 and enjoyed music especially the accordion and organ. She loved travelling with friends but most especially spending time with family.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late Richard Cavicchi, the loving mother of Mark Cavicchi and his wife Eileen of Woburn and Jill DiCara and her husband Mark of Reading and proud Grandma of Nicholas and Matthew DiCara. She is the sister of Frank Battaglia of Belmont and his late wife Jane and Lisa Davenport and her husband Thomas of Billerica and sister in law of Lorraine (Cavicchi) Caron of Woburn and the late Peter Caron. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Her funeral will be from the Keefe Funeral Home 5 Chestnut St. Arlington on Fri Feb 17 at 10 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Camillus Church Rte. 2 Arlington at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Everett. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Thurs 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s name to Woburn Nursing Center, 18 Francis St Woburn MA 01801 or Boston Catholic TV, 34 Chestnut St Watertown MA 02472 would be appreciated.
