Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marie C. Condolence: I saw Ms Messer's obituary in the Globe. I am so sorry for your loss. She was my 2nd grade teacher and while I do not remember all my teachers, I remember her fondly. It's funny, I think of her often, because she gave all the catholic students in her class a small statue of the child Jesus with the Sacred Heart. I still have mine, and it has always been at my bedside or over my kitchen counter, for over 50 years. A lovely lady, I'm sure she will be missed. And how heaven is rejoicing to have a light like hers!

Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. Although I don't remember very much from so far back, I recognized Miss Messer's name as my 2nd grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in Malden back in the 60s. My condolences.
