DONNELLY, Joseph H. of Medford and Arlington, formerly of Hyde Park. Born on Oct. 29, 1951. Passed away on March 13, 2017, after a brave battle with gall bladder cancer. Graduate of Xaverian High School. Dedicated dispatcher for the town of Arlington for 34 years. Son of the late Joseph and Mary Donnelly. He leaves behind his devoted common-law wife of 16 years, Armené Boyajian. Loving brother of Laurence “Larry” Donnelly and wife Ellen of Weymouth and George Donnelly of Sarasota, FL. Uncle of Brian Donnelly and his life partner Mary Kelley of Salem, Lauren Cloutier and husband Al, and their son Eion of Weymouth. Joe leaves behind too many loyal friends to mention. Relatives and friends are invited to an informal visitation on Friday March 17th at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. Arlington, from 3-7 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Jeans and T-shirts are welcome. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to charities of your choice focusing on cancer research or veteran’s care.
