Pallotta, Anthony D. “Tony” of Arlington, Medford, and Scituate, May 12, 2017, at age 84. Beloved husband of Nancy C. (Catino) with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Devoted father of Stacie Knight and her husband Paul, Kevin Pallotta, and Suzanne Klein and her husband Jeffrey, all of Medford and Michael Pallotta and his wife Maryann “Mitzi” of Arlington. Cherished grandfather of Katherine Waitt and her husband Nicholas of Arlington, Michael Pallotta and his fiancée Jessica Burke of Burlington, Michaela and Abigail Knight and Samantha and Christopher Klein of Medford. Brother of Lorraine Quinn of Scituate and Alma Apicella of Salem, Ohio and the late Dr. Arthur Pallotta and Joseph Pallotta. Also, he was the devoted Godparent to many and the proud uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.
Anthony graduated St. Joseph’s School in Medford, where he was a member of the All Boys Marching Band, and played at Truman’s Inauguration and then Malden Catholic High School. After graduating, he served in the United States Air Force, including the Korean War. Upon returning to Medford, he attended Boston College and established Pallotta Oil Company, a successful family business, which he operated with pride for almost 50 years.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Anthony during visiting hours at St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford Street, Arlington, on Wednesday, May 17 from 4-8pm and for his funeral Mass at 10am on Thursday, May 18.
