SLINEY, Eleanor L.,
Longtime resident of Cambridge. Passed peacefully on June 29, 2017. Born in Arlington. Beloved daughter of the late David J. Sliney and Julia F. (Buckley). Sister of the late Catherine Meadows, Mary Sliney, Julia Wood, Dorothy Merlin, Grace Afarian, and David Sliney. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Eleanor worked for over 40 years in the factory for Welch/Nabisco Candy Co. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt. 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) Arlington on Monday at 9 am. Funeral mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Arlington at 10am. Relatives and friends are cordially invited. Visitation from the funeral home Sunday, 2-5pm. Burial at Belmont Cemetery.
