CARTER, James E. Jr. of Beverly. July 18, 2017. Loving father of James Carter and his wife Alice of Beverly and Liane Crowley and her former husband Aaron of Melrose. Devoted grandfather of Aidan, Reid, Gavin, Paige, and Vivian. Brother of Mary Sullivan and her husband Neil of Gloucester, Robert Carter and his wife Stephanie of Tewksbury, Ann Marie Woolfrey and her late husband Lewis of NC, and Patricia Scagnelli and her husband James of NC. Former husband of the late Kathleen Clifford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Massachusetts Ave. CAMBRIDGE on Monday at 9 am. Funeral mass in Saint John’s Church Cambridge at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-5 pm. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Arlington.
