Condolence: I don't know how many lives Kay touched but I am sure it is countless. She was such an irrepressibly upbeat person. She certainly touched my life as young intern at Arthur D Little while working on my Master's Degree in the early 80's She and all "the ladies" in tech services were like another set of moms interested in us and our futures and always rooting for us. I have so many warm memories of my times there but my favorite is Kay and the others urging me to drop what what I was doing to take a spur of the moment trip to Quebec to be a courier for something that had to get delivered for a consulting job that day. I was low man on the totem pole so easiest to send. But what about my date tonight with Jeff? (who I had just met) - take him was the answer. I did and we've been married for over 33 years. Kay lived simply but had such a big heart and a great sense of humor. I will always carry her in my memories

Condolence: My condolences to the Maytum families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Catherine. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". The Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. For more comforting thoughts see jw.org?
