GUNZELMANN, Betsy A., Of Hampton, NH, formerly of Arlington. Passed peacefully on February 14, 2018. Devoted and proud mother of Matthew Gunzelmann of Melrose. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Keefe) Gunzelmann. Dear sister of Edward “Joe” Gunzelmann, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Hampton, NH, and Susan Reynolds of NH and FL. Betsy is also survived by her four nephews, many loving friends, and colleagues. Former Professor at Southern New Hampshire University, Psychology Dept. She was also an Academic Publisher. She received her bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees are from Salem State University, and her Ed.D. from Boston University. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday in the Keefe Funeral Homes, 5 chestnut Street in Arlington, from 10-11am. A Prayer Service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 11am. Burial will conclude in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betsy’s memory to The Pappas Center for Neuro-Oncology, c/o Development Office, MGH, 125 Nashua St., Suite 540, Boston, MA 02124 https://giving.massgeneral.org/donate/.
