Obituary for Anne E. Gulick (Donoghue)

On the morning of April 26, 2018, Anne 'Nancy' Gulick passed away peacefully at home. She recently battled several illnesses that she handled with strength and a positive attitude.
Nancy was born and raised in the city of Cambridge on July 12, 1945. She was the second child of the late Mary E. Daly and Arthur J. Donoghue, Sr.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She worked for New England Business Service in Groton, Mass for many years, then worked for Chiswick Bags & Bows in Sudbury, Mass until 2007. She was a loyal and dedicated Secretary for 25 years. Nancy loved her visits to the Cape, spending a week there with her children and grandchildren. She was a die hard Boston sports fan and shared that love and passion with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she would light up anytime they came to visit.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Robert 'Bob' Gulick in 1999 and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Stephen, Christine (Jason), Jennifer (Mark) and Allyson (Jeff). She also leaves behind a brother Arthur J. Donoghue Jr. of FL and a sister Ellen M. Donoghue of Arlington. She will also be forever missed by her six grandchildren, Adam, Alex, Erica, Elizabeth, Erin and Joseph, and by many other friends and family.
The family of Anne Gulick wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for the excellent care provided by the kind doctors and nurses of Lahey Hospital in Burlington Mass and Emerson Hospital in Concord Mass.

A Funeral Service in memory of Nancy will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10:00 a.m., at St. Peter’s Parish in Cambridge, MA. Those who so desire, may make memorial donations in memory of Nancy to the Sophia Gordon Cancer Center at Lahey Clinic in Burlington MA.
