MACCINI, Frances ‘Franny’ (Filipiak)
77, of Arlington, peacefully went to heaven on May 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was survived by her devoted husband of 54 years Robert P., her three children Robert of Arlington, Patricia of New York and Susan and her husband Cody of Waltham. Devoted ‘Grammy’ to her four grandchildren Jaclyn, Danielle, Matthew and Michael. Dear sister of Maryann of Chelsea and Stephen of Maine. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Frances but everyone called her Franny. Grew up in Chelsea, MA and settled in Arlington, MA. Franny loved dogs so much. She also loved shopping at Walmart, reading books and watching her favorite shows. But most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. One thing you should never forget about Frances is she was one tough, strong, brave fighter who never gave up or showed you that she was ever in any pain. "Rest your head to close to my heart, never to part, baby of mine." Sweat dreams Mommy we love you. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 17th in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Franny’s memory may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, 350 So. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02138 or Animal Rescue League, 10 Chandler St., Boston, MA 02116.
