Condolence From: Kim McCabe
Condolence: Dick was an inspiration to me in my professional life. With a great sense of humor and insight, he provided me and many others with direction and empathy. I had always felt priveledged to have worked with him at New England Development. Very much an individual that I am pleased to have known.

Condolence From: Judith Lambert
Condolence: Dick was one of the greatest men I have met in life; a rare combination of intelligence, ambition, deep
caring toward others, wisdom, open mindedness, insightful and compassionate. He was an outstanding role model of integrity and professionalism. He inspired so many ; I became one of his most ardent fans at Filenes, and then stayed friends for the last 35 years. He was an impressive person and mentored me and others tirelessly, sharing his wisdom in the most caring way.He loved and respected all his family members so deeply; he was ahead of his times in terms of social mindedness...so aware and alive...such an absolute joy to share time with.We had great conversations, one of his many talents. I will miss him, but all that he gave to me in life lives on within me.
