Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to Werner's family. I had the pleasure of working with this electric and creative person while at Polaroid. One vivid memory, among many others, was a meeting with Werner early one morning in my basement office at 549 Technology Square. We were working on writing a speech for Murray Swindell, the VP of Sales, and Werner was rolling and smoking cigarettes in my tiny office. Suddenly we heard a knock on the door, and Lucille DiBenedetto (my Assistant) announced that Werner's wife was about to give birth to their first child, Charlie.
