I am a friend of Al's and took him to the Comedy Studio a few times last year which he enjoyed a lot. We celebrated his birthdays with cakes and we had a special one with Rich from the Comedy Studio for his 70th with Al on the cake looking like a gangster. I also brought him ice cream and other treats as well as magazines. I brought my dog to visit him and he loved when the Harvard students brought their dogs to the Rehab. We met almost 20 years ago and I attended the shows he did at the Hong Kong and knew him when he lived independently. He was a character. I'm very sorry to learn of his passing.

Alan was a Friend of mine at Arlington Catholic High School. We had experienced
our younger days growing up in the 60’s.
We still kept in touch as Alan took
College Courses at UMass Boston.
Al continued his journey with the Air
Force and was stationed in Germany.
Al loved Comedy and attended a
Comedy Show in Cambridge which I also
attended. May God bless him

To the family of Al Paradis,
I was very sorry to hear that Al passed away. I met
Al at Cambridge Rehab several years ago. A group of us from Sant' Egidio would visit weekly and Al is one of the people I met. He shared his enthusiasm for comedy and said he used to perform at the Hong Kong. He would also tell jokes that were funny. Al used to carry around with him the latest letters or post cards from family and friends and was eager to share these with us when we visited. He was so grateful. I will miss Al, and I will keep Al and Al's family in my prayers. With Sympathy, Eve Carr
