Obituary for Alice Pyne (Ahern)
Pyne, Alice (Ahern), of Somerville, April 4th 2021. Beloved wife of 45 years to the late James M. Pyne. Devoted mother of her six children and eight grandchildren.
Alice was the daughter of Irish immigrants, the late Alice (Sullivan) and Daniel Ahern. She enjoyed shopping, bingo, Irish music and spending time with all of her grandchildren. A lifelong Somerville resident, she was an active member of the Somerville - Cambridge Elder Services Group. She was a driver until she was 90 years old, often picking up her friends and going with them to events.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, all of Alice’s services will remain private.
As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions are to be made in Alice’s name to the Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services, 61 Medford St., Somerville, MA 02143.
