Obituary for Ann DeSantis
M. Annina “Ann” C. DeSantis, 92, of Arlington, MA passed away on June 19, 2019. She leaves two brothers, Dominic (Tosca) of Jamesville, NY and Pat (Alzina) of Rochester, VT. Ann is also survived by her dearly devoted and loving niece Maria of Cambridge, MA, her devoted nephew Michael (Tracy) of Appleton, WI, and many cherished nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Pasquale and Marianna; two sisters, Carmela and Adeline; and her brother Mariano. Ann was a volunteer at the Arlington Senior Center for many years. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness and generosity and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Burial will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery in Rochester, VT. Family and friends are invited to a memorial Mass for Ann on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:30AM at St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington, MA, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ann to the Arlington Community Center Capital Campaign, 27 Maple St., Arlington, MA 02476 or www.arlingtoncommunitycenter.org.
