Anne Bruch Meixsell passed away Jan.31,2023 at the Sudbury Pines Nursing Home at the age of 88. Anne grew up on Long Island NY, and spent her summers sailing on the Great South Bay. She attended Wellesley college and subsequently got her Ph.D in English Literature and History from Pennsylvania State University. She met her husband Lael (Mike) Murlin Meixsell at Penn State. They were married in Fort Worth Texas and residents in Sudbury since 1960. Anne was a talented piano player and music was always a big part of her life. She taught college English and after leaving teaching, she worked at Wellesley College as an office manager in the Political Science Department. Mike and Anne spent a lot of their time doing conservation work with the SUASCO (SudburyAssabetConcord) Watershed Association. She was also an active member of the Christian Science Church. Anne is survived by her husband Mike, and 2 children, Tim and Tara. As well as 2 grandchildren Charlotte and Nick Meixsell.
