Obituary for Barbara D. Fox
Barbara Fox; 82, of Medford, MA passed away peacefully on March 25th at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on September 21st in Rochester, NY she was the proud daughter of Robert Fox and Helen Fox (Jackman). She graduated from Nazareth College in ‘64.
Barbara was a loving mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all those around her. She was a devoted teacher in the Cambridge Public School system for over 30 years, where she never missed a teachable moment, never tired of helping her students succeed and was immensely proud of each of their successes. Teaching was her passion, one that she was proud to reference and share with all those whom she encountered.
She is survived by her children; Jesse Fox and Ann Fox, both of Medford, MA. her sister’s Carol Gotham and Beverly Fox-Schantz, her late brothers Dennis Fox and Jimmy Fox as well as many nieces, nephews, and fierce friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 1st at St. Raphael’s Church in Medford, MA.
