Cameron Laird Bowen (born October 17, 1984 in Hartford, CT.), was a devoted father to Andreas Cameron Bowen (Pierce); son to Nathaniel Bowen and Laureen Johnson; brother to Chelsea Johnson, Julian Bowen, Dr. Mya Bowen, and Nathaniel Bowen Jr.; fiancée to Betsy Preval; grandson, uncle, nephew, and cousin. Cameron took great pride in his work as a union carpenter, dedicating 18 years of his life to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Carpenters Local Union 339. Cameron was a man of many passions, and he loved all that life had to offer. Cameron lived life with his heart on his sleeve. He had a smile and laugh that would light up any room. If anyone was in need - family, friends, his union family, or complete strangers - Cameron would not hesitate to lend a helping hand or a sympathetic ear. It was well known amongst those who truly knew Cameron, that if you gave him 5-10 minutes of your time, he’d have you sharing your life story. Cameron passed unexpectedly on April 15, 2022. A private service for Cameron was held prior to his cremation.
