MERRILL, Carl L., of Medford, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on December 27, 2022. Beloved husband of 65 years to Ellen R. Merrill (Scully). Loving father of Carl L. Merrill, III and his wife June of Chelsea, ME, Michael Merrill and his wife Barbara of Medford, Jon Merrill and his wife Patricia of Salem, NH, Mary Cain and her husband John of Arlington, David Merrill of Reading, Kristine Merrill of Stoneham, and Matthew Merrill and his wife Erin of North Andover. Grandfather of Amanda, Kenny, Katrina, Meghan, Maura, Michael, Jonathan, Jennifer, Bobby, Haily, and Eliana. Cherished great grandfather of Emery and Elena. Dear brother of Madeline Murphy of Wilmington, Judith Foehrenbach of CT, and the late Thomas Merrill. Carl is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Late Air Force Veteran. Visiting Hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, Tuesday, January 3rd from 4-7PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 41 Fellsway W, Medford at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
