MOUNTAIN, Charles F. “Chuck”, of Cambridge, passed peacefully on March 8, 2022, from a long bout with Parkinson ’s Disease. Beloved husband of almost 55 years to Florence “Flo” Mountain (Kent). Loving father of Christopher Mountain and his wife Lorraine of North Reading, Michael Mountain and his wife Kelly of Arlington and Melissa Mountain Cherella and her husband Jason of Burbank, CA. Chuck was the proud and cherished Grampy or E to Drew, Karina, Vivian, Griffin, Steve, Natalie, and the late Marley Jaye. Chuck earned his B.S. degree from Northeastern University after attending ten years at night. He was a dedicated student graduating first in his class and being named the Class Marshall. He accomplished this while working full time and raising his family. He went to work at Instrumental Laboratory in 1972 as a technician and forty two years later, Chuck retired as Vice president of Point of Care – Advanced Chemistry Programs. Visiting Hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE, on Friday from 4-7PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave., Cambridge, on Saturday at 10AM. Burial will be Private.
