TEVLIN, Denis F., of Arlington, formerly of Cambridge, where he was proudly born and raised, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2020 at the age of 69. Beloved son of the late Joseph Tevlin and Mary (Dempsey). Loving father of Erin M. Tevlin of Everett, Matthew B. Tevlin of Cambridge, and Sherman F. Higgins of Cambridge . Proud ‘Buddy (Grandpa)’ of Matthew Biron Tevlin, Jr, Niele Lee Tevlin, and Elliot Joseph Tevlin. Dear brother of Sean Tevlin of Medford, and late sister Kathleen Tevlin of Cambridge. Former husband of Janet (Biron) Tevlin of Cambridge. Denis was a retired Firefighter for the City of Cambridge, and a late Vietnam Army Veteran. He proudly served his community and his country. He will be missed by all of those who knew him. A Graveside Prayer Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at 2PM in Cambridge Cemetery.
