Schumacher, Dorothea C., (Chaulk) of Arlington, February 3, 2022. Beloved wife of John F. Schumacher. Devoted mother of Kathy Papke, and her husband Steven of FL, Steven Schumacher, and his wife Christina of Billerica, David Schumacher, and his wife Lisa of ME. Loving grandmother of Corey O’Shea, Patrick and Adam Magagnos. Sister of Lorraine Chaulk of Quincy, Gerald Chaulk of FL, Michelle Gonzales of Millville, Christine Snow of ME and the late Barbara Manning and Harold Chaulk Jr. Dorothea passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Dorothea was known to all that loved her as Dottie. Although Dottie never lost her “Southie Sass”, she had a beautiful heart and being with her family made her the happiest. Dottie loved to shop but baking was her passion, and her goodies were loved by all. Dottie selflessly gave to others without ever giving it a second thought. Dottie is now shopping among the angels and will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. ARLINGTON on Thursday, February 10th from 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington, Friday, February 11th at 10 AM. Please go directly to church. Services will conclude with inurnment at Mt.
