My parents, David and Marion Pearlman and I , Walter Pearlman, spent many hours with Dottie at the Fernando League. She was the most companionate person I have ever met. Rest In Peace!

Dear O'Rourke Family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother. Dottie was a wonderful advocate for people with intellectual disabilities and made a huge difference in the lives of not only Fernald residents, but so many other people in Massachusetts with disabilities. She was a fighter with grace and kindness, who gave of herself to so many others. My prayers for your family. It was an honor to know Dottie.
