Obituary for Dorothy H. Sylvain
Dorothy Sylvain (Bullwinkle), Lifelong resident of Somerville, Age 91, died after a brief illness on December 14. Dottie was a homemaker and home every day when her children came home from school. She loved being a mom, wife, and grandmother.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Norman, her sister Lorraine Dennehy, Catherine Marcotti, and Phyllis Bonhoff, brothers Richard Bullwinkle, and John Morrissey. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Dottie was the most loving, caring, and funny woman and always smiled. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She enjoyed spending time with her family they meant everything to her. She was always appreciative of everything everyone did for her. Always saying I love you. We were all her honey bunnies.
Devoted mother of, Daughter, Debra Natale and her husband Sam, Son, Gary Sylvain (deceased), Son, Brian Sylvain and his wife Karen, daughter Karen Lopez and her husband Angel.
Cherished grandmother of-Anthony Ferrara and his wife Jasmine, Adam Ferrara and his wife Kelly, Tina Sylvain and her partner Mike Sanchez, Tammy Sylvain and her partner Khari Frank, Gary Sylvain, Isabella Hurd and her husband Scott, Sebastian Cafarelli, Christian Cafarelli, Emma Lee Cafarelli, Zachary Sylvain, Lisa Natale and her husband Tim Flaherty, Bill Natale and his wife Elisa, Pasquale Natale and his wife Angie, Kenny Glover & his wife Michele, & Vinny Glover & his wife Courtney. Great Grandchildren-Courtney Ferrara, Hailey Ferrara, Owyn Ferrara, Cole Ferrara, Lexie Sanchez, Lily Sanchez, Samantha Natale, Timothy I. Flaherty, Pasquale Natale, Brynne Glover, Devyn Glover, Carys Glover, Anthony Glover, and Kaila Rae Frank. She also leaves her longtime homemaker Michelle Griswold whom she loved like a daughter.
A Graveside service will be held at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree, MA on Monday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m.
