Steve and I saw each once or twice a year for over 15 years. I was his tax preparer. He was so kind, funny and sincere. We never worked on taxes, we spent our time talking--solving the mysteries of life. Then he dropped off his papers and left. I would see him again when he picked his return up. Our talking would commence and end withing the hour. I looked forward to seeing him every year. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and parents. He will be missed by many, even a passing acquaintance--such was his impact on those around him. Rest in peace, dear Steve.

I had the privilege and honor of knowing and working with Steve for many years at Cape Cod Hospital. To this day he remains one of the truly most decent people I've ever known in medicine. He was one of the nicest and classiest people I've ever known. He was an excellent otolaryngologist . It breaks my heart to realize he has left us, but the impact he had on anyone who had the privilege on knowing Steve will live on with us all. My best to his family

In 2004, Dr. Mucci took out my tonsils (and maybe my adenoids). I was 8 years old, so I don’t remember the surgery, but thank you for taking care of me and making my throat not feel sore. I will keep the family in my prayers

A family friend from the days of my youth. My first job was working for his uncle and father at the Melrose Spa in Arlington.
Great memories from our gym days at Mike's Gym in Cambridge.
Rest in peace my friend.

Dr. Mucci helped give my mother an extra 10 years of life when she had a serious growth in her throat that could have taken her at any moment. I will always remember his calm, direct, expert guidance and surgery during a difficult time. She always spoke very highly of him. I would like to extend my sympathy to his family and thank them for sharing him with us.
