I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Mucci's passing. I became his patient in the Spring of 1995 and ,in my mind, he instantly became a friend as well as a valued doctor. I had such affection for him because of his personal warmth and sincere care for my health. Of all the doctors I have known in my seventy three years, he was by far my favorite. My sincerest regrets to his family, and all those who have known him . Peace to you, dear Steven. Peter

Steve and I saw each once or twice a year for over 15 years. I was his tax preparer. He was so kind, funny and sincere. We never worked on taxes, we spent our time talking--solving the mysteries of life. Then he dropped off his papers and left. I would see him again when he picked his return up. Our talking would commence and end withing the hour. I looked forward to seeing him every year. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and parents. He will be missed by many, even a passing acquaintance--such was his impact on those around him. Rest in peace, dear Steve.

I had the privilege and honor of knowing and working with Steve for many years at Cape Cod Hospital. To this day he remains one of the truly most decent people I've ever known in medicine. He was one of the nicest and classiest people I've ever known. He was an excellent otolaryngologist . It breaks my heart to realize he has left us, but the impact he had on anyone who had the privilege on knowing Steve will live on with us all. My best to his family
