Elizabeth Savini, of Cambridge MA, died July 10, 2022, at Mount Auburn Hospital, at the age of 92 with her loving family at her bedside. Betty was born in Cambridge, MA to Rosella and John O’Brien. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to the late Anthony Savini. She was the loving mother to William Savini and his wife, Lyndi, of Wilmington, the late Mark Savini and his wife, Sandra, of Reading and Paul Savini and his wife, Deborah, of Billerica. She is survived by six grandchildren: Cacey Cafua, Ryan Savini, Thomas Savini, Robert Savini, Grace Savini and Rachel Savini and five great-grandchildren: Sofia, Gianna, Mariana, Brayden and Derrick. Betty was the sister of Anna Mae Stefani of Venice, Florida, the late Helen Kelley of Cambridge, MA and the late Margaret Costello of Somerville, MA. She was also the loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Betty worked in the Somerville School System as a Teacher’s Aide and Reading Specialist for 23 years. She was also involved with the St. Anthony’s Women’s Guild in Somerville. She was an avid knitter, crocheter and crafter who was a member of the Rice Street Girls which included her sisters, Helen and Anna Mae, and her cousin Millie. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday July 18th at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., ARLINGTON from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held in Saint John’s Church, 2254 Mass Ave., CAMBRIDGE on Tuesday July 19th at 11 am. Burial in Cambridge Cemetery.
