O’Brien, Ellen T. of Cambridge passed away on February 20, 2023. Loving daughter of the late Daniel E. and Catherine T. O’Brien. Beloved sister and sister-in-law to Tom and Denise, Cheryl, Frank and Marianne, Michael and Yolanda, Cathy Young, and the late Daniel, Paul, and John. Treasured “Auntie Ellie” to her nieces and nephews and their spouses: Kerri and Mike, Bryon and Samantha, Jaclyn and Jonathan, Megan and Ryan, David, Nicholas, John and Nicole, Kelsey, and Kevin along with her great-nieces and nephews: Allison and Brady, Kyle and Emmett, Maeve and Nora, and Will. Ellen was so proud of her family and was a caretaker to so many. She was a talented quilter and had a love for lighthouses, the beach, and summer tomatoes and fresh corn from Wilson’s Farm. Ellen also had great friends with whom she worked during her 40+ year career in the banking industry and through her love of quilting. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Sunday from 2-5 pm. A funeral Mass will be held in Saint John’s Church on Monday at 11 am. Burial in Cambridge Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge.
