Obituary for Iris B. Flannery (Brown)
Iris Brown Flannery, 70, was born on October 31st in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating Brighton High School in 1972, Iris earned her Associate’s Degree 1974, at the Boston Business School. With her sunny disposition, quick smile, and twinkling eyes, Iris lit up a room, and she is remembered as a sweet loving woman with a heart of Gold!
Iris is survived by her son Walter Raymond Flannery, IV (Kristine) and daughter Jennifer Flannery Morgan (David), and sisters Rhonna B. Garoz and Sharon Brown Watson (David). Iris leaves three beloved granddaughters, Alison and Jacklynn Morgan, and Chloe Flannery, and her pride and joy was spending time with them. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Iris was predeceased by her brothers Robert and Barry Brown.
A celebration of life and private burial will be held in the Spring.
