Obituary for Janice M. Coughlin (Aylward)
COUGHLIN, Janice M. (Aylward) of Arlington, formerly of Clearwater, FL, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023 surrounded by her loving daughters. Beloved mother of Cindy Brienze and her husband Steven of Arlington, Kerry Coughlin-Wells and her husband John of Franklin, and Dianne Tessier and her husband Richard of Tyngsboro. Cherished ‘Nana’ of Timothy Brienze and his wife Kerri Anne of SC, Laycie Gallagher and her husband Matt of Arlington, Emily Tessier of Waltham, Curtis Tessier of Tyngsboro, Christian Wells of Franklin, Meghan Tessier of Tyngsboro, Samuel Wells of Franklin, and Kevin Tessier of Tyngsboro. Proud great-grandmother of Riley and Anthony of SC. Dear sister of twin Joyce Howington of Arlington, and the late Carole Doyle. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews (enormous love and gratitude especially to Karen and Laura for their support).
Visiting hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, Tuesday, July 25th from 9:30AM to 11 AM, to be followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St. Arlington at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care, 790 Turnpike St #202, North Andover, MA 01845. Janice’s daughters would like to express their enduring love and heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, dignity and love shown by the team caring for Mom, including Herbert, Veronique, Mary and Effani. Melanie from Compassus Hospice and Nursing, Manager Susie, and Nurse Practitioner Stacy were also invaluable to the family. Without the guidance and support of all we would have been lost.
