Lafleur, Joan (Mercier) passed peacefully at home with family by her side on Sunday, August 7, 2022, Born in Cambridge, on March 12, 1943 to the late Charles J Mercier and Ethel (Edgerly). Beloved wife of the late Richard James Kennedy Sr and James E. Lafleur. She went to grammar school at Blessed Sacrament in Cambridge, went to CHLS graduated in 1961. She was well known for her beautiful cakes.

Also survived by her grandchildren Robert P Martignetti of Malden Ma, David J Kennedy of Malden Ma, Daniel R Adkins of Brighton Ma, Sarah J Adkins of Cambridge Ma, Jonathan T Adkins of Cambridge Ma, Samantha M Maragioglio of Wilmington Ma, also survived by her great grandchildren Ashley R Keefe of Malden Ma , Emily Joy Martignetti of Malden Ma, Matthew R Martignetti of Malden Ma, Liam C Kennedy of Malden Ma, Hailey G Martignetti of Malden, Ma, also survived by her remaining brothers Edward (Alfred)Mercier of Pompton Plains NJ Joseph Mercier of Columbus Ohio, Thomas Mercier of Gilford NH, and sisters Francis (Frannie) Jack of Royal Palm beach Fl, Gloria Doherty of Barrington NH. Survived by many nieces and nephews and friends and her best friend Kenneth Kornatowski and the ones she called sons. (Kevin, Ralph) She was Loved by all who knew her.
