Obituary for Joanne M. Ingalls
Ingalls, Joanne M. (McDonough) Of Somerville, formerly of Belmont, December 10, 2020 at the age of 76.
She was the loving mother of Thomas and his wife Colleen of Melrose, MA, Brian and his wife Debbie of Avon, MA, Robert and his wife Sherrie of Melrose, MA, Carrie Scribner and her husband Robert of Arlington, MA, and Stephen and his wife Myra of Wakefield, MA. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Brian Jr., Aidan, Delaney, Teagan, Matthew, Caelin, Brendan, Zachary, Calvin, and Audrey and loving great-grandmother of Richard.
She was sister to the late George (Sonny) McDonough, James McDonough, and Stephen McDonough. She is survived by her sisters Arlene (Candi) O’Neil, Helene (Ginger) Gonsalves, and brother Alan Cole and his wife Ann Marie.
Joanne enjoyed reading, movies, and dancing. She was a fast friend and quickly brought joy and laughter to those around her. She was a wonderful cook, both at home and throughout her career. She spent many summers on Cape Cod and could often be found at Corporation Beach. Joanne was devoted to her family and leaves behind a wealth of fond memories with those whose lives she has touched. Her loss will be felt by many.
The family would like to extend their thanks to those who have offered their support and condolences during this hard time.
