ALICANDRO, Joseph A. of Somerville. May 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Ernestina (Alicandro). Loving father of Joanne Hickey and her husband Patrick of Burlington, Joseph Alicandro and his wife Patricia of Arlington and Maria Frazier and her late husband Brian of Somerville. Devoted brother of Joanne Kendall of Plymouth, Jean Collins of Woburn, and the late Connie McNeil, Mary Mullane, Martin and Ralph Alicandro. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph was a Korean War Army veteran and retired from the US Post Office after 35 years. He was an avid Patriots fan and he was a season ticket holder since 1960. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in Saint John’s Church, 2254 Mass Ave., on Wednesday May 26th from 9:30-11 am. Followed by his funeral mass at 11 am. All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint John’s Church.
