Obituary for Judith F. Campbell

Judith French Campbell, a longtime resident of Cambridge, MA, died peacefully on February 10, 2022 after a long and hard-fought battle with both Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Myeloma.

Born November 14, 1942, Judy was the daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Campbell and grew up in Watertown, Connecticut. She graduated from Connecticut College and soon thereafter, moved to Cambridge where she spent most of her life. She went on to attain a Master’s Degree in Economics from Northeastern University. During her career, Judy worked for Arthur D. Little, had her own consulting business and ended her working days at Boston Senior Home Care.

Judy is survived by her long-time companion and beloved friend, David Low, her sister, Barbara Bigelow, her nephew Kemp Bigelow and his wife Debbie, her nephew Charlie Bigelow and his wife Elisa, and her beloved grand-nieces Lucy, Scarlett and Phoebe. She is also survived by several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Bill Bigelow.

Judy was an intelligent, kind, loving and generous person who will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She delighted in brightening someone’s day in any way she could.

A memorial service for Judy will take place on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00am at Christ Church, 0 Garden St. in Cambridge, MA.
