June was a wonderful woman with an open and kind heart. She would visit my mom, her aunt by marriage to Roland on a regular basis. June even visited her in her nursing home and took her to lunch (before June moved to Massachusetts), when I’m not sure my mom was quite aware of any of us anymore. That speaks volumes about her. She will be sorely missed.

I am saddened by the loss of June, who was such a spirited person who obviously loved her life and relationships with family and friends. I had the privilege to bring communion from church to June along with my husband George in the last few years. She was always so appreciative of the ongoing connection to her faith, but it brought grace to us to visit with her. June had a sharp memory of earlier years, but she also enjoyed her time in Cambridge, where she was a dependable presence at the Council on Aging and made many friends. She will be missed by many!
