Obituary for Laura Ann Shea
SHEA, Laura Ann, of Cambridge, passed peacefully at home on February 5, 2020, after a longtime chronic illness. Beloved daughter of Catherine Kelly-Mahon of Sandwich and the late Ralph A. Shea. Loving sister of Catherine M. Hanson and her husband Jeffrey of Medfield, and the late Siobhan Shea. Proud mother of Paul, Teddy, and Charlie, and aunt of Coralia Leech and her husband Adam, and John Hanson. Laura is also survived by her longtime companion Ronald VanAmburgh of Malden, and her uncle George Mahon and wife Ann, her aunt Lillian Pirelli and husband Ralph, her cousins, Mariann, Nancy, Susan, and her dear friend, Judy.
Laura was born in Boston on February 26, 1964. She grew up in Dover, MA, graduated from Dover Sherborn High School, and attended the University of Vermont and Boston Conservatory. Laura loved to sing and dance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 14th at 11:00 am in The Most Precious Blood Church, Dover, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial private.
