Obituary for Lucienne Bonnet (George)
Lucienne Georges Bonnet (Mommy Cienne), after a 12 years battle with dementia, peacefully passed away on March 29th, 2023 at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster, MA in her daughter’s, Marie-Ange, arms at 9:15 PM. Lucienne, better known by Mom Micienne, was a loving, spiritual person with an infectious energy that brightened any room. Her love is rooted in or supported by a deep spiritual connection that helped her find meaning and purpose in life. She was a dynamo, who approached everything she did with passion and determination. This was reflected both in kindhearted by going out of her way to make others feel more confident in themselves, especially the less fortunate, as well as in her fierce guardianship of her friends and family.
Mommy Cienne was predeceased by her husband, Tiburce Bonnet on May 7, 1994, her son, Jean Gérard Bonnet, on February 7, 2021, and her two daughters, Lucianna Bonnet Février on January 6, 2018, and Carmelie Bonnet on June 9, 2018, her father, Bruce Georges, her mother, Véronique Guilloux, her brothers, Arnold Georges, Alcégaire Georges, Bernadine Georges, her sisters, Anèse Georges, Marie Monique Georges, Adiya Daniel, and Noemie Georges.
She is also survived by her daughters; Marie Micheline Bonnet, Marie Rosette and her husband Vemarie Henry, Marie Croise B. and her husband Daryl Laraque, Sylvanie Février, Marie-Ange B. and her husband Frantz A.Edouard, her son, Claude Séraphin and his wife Nagela Aristil Bonnet, her sister, Irène Guilloux and her brother, Ricard Daniel.
She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and forty-one great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and extended families, Jacynthe, Louis, Charles, Antoine……etc. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
The Lord called Mommy Cienne home, she is no longer with us anymore but her strength, her passion, her spirituality, her energy, her words of wisdom still remain and grow within all the people she touched and loved during her time here with all of us.
